Here we have a blanc de blanc style of sparkling without the French price tag. It’s made entirely from chardonnay, and shows fleshy fruits in the apple, pear and tropical spectrum on the nose, with sniffs of baked bread. The palate is more medium-bodied and compact, with ripe orchard fruit flavours, hints of buttered toast, and a decent chalky finish. An excellent shellfish wine.
