Here we have a mighty fine food wine that would match most red meat and game dishes. Made from a blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon, it shows bucket loads of red cherries, lavender, mocha and licorice notes on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied and more savoury in nature with slinky tannins, bright acidity, and a bone-dry, slightly warm and earthy finish.
