Old school with a touch of new school is the theme with this full-flavoured chardy from Sandalford. Aromas of ripe peaches, grapefruits, toasted cashews and some matchstick ‘funk’ decorate the nose, whilst the palate is rich, rounded and toasty savoury, with an ultra-creamy texture, a nice line of citrusy acidity, liberal licks of oak, and a lush, long finish. This could cope with a rich pork dish. White – Chardonnay and Blends – Chardonnay
