This wine displays attractive floral notes and aromas of citrus, white peach, pear blossom with subtle smoky characters. The palate is rich, with tangy citrus pith, Beurré Bosc pear and white peach, interwoven with a chalky texture and nuanced minerality. This elegant wine is beautifully focused and complex, with a long powerful finish. 100% Estate Grown Chardonnay sourced from our high density planted vineyards planted at 7700 – 9615 vines/ha, totalling 9 different, low yielding chardonnay clones (less than 1kg/vine).With a true passion and respect for the environment, Sinapius wines are aimed to reflect the ancient soils from the region, each season, and the uniqueness of our special site in Piper Brook, Tasmania. Each vine is treated with the individual attention it deserves and provides us in return with a small yield, but with maximum intensity. With minimalist winemaking intervention, each wine represents a true expression of our terroir.
