Skillogalee is quite a mouthful to say and their wines are quite a mouthful too. This winery is an institution in the Clare Valley and no visit to the region is complete without a visit to their cellar door. Classic Clare aromas here, with lime and floral aromatics, the palate delivers all the nose promises with a rich vein of lime and a really tight, acid finish. It’s drinking beautifully now but like all Riesling’s from the Clare will age well to show its secondary characters. Think simple wit
