Their Old Scout American Whiskey is a blend of two whiskeys made with bourbon mashbills – one is aged in new oak barrels, while the other is aged in rejuvenated, re-charred bourbon casks (which is why this can’t be labelled as a bourbon).Like the other Old Scout Whiskeys, it is blended in limited hand selected batches and without chill filtration. Hand signed by the bottler and has the barrel # on the back.
