It’s all about the fruit (not the bass) in this more medium-bodied, moderately oaked cab sav out of South Africa. It smells typically cab-like, with plenty of cassis, crushed leaves and subtle spice on the nose, with just a hint of butterscotch. The palate is quite smooth and fruity, with lots of dark fruited flavours, a softness to the tannins, and a silky finish.
