Spier Signature Shiraz

This shiraz from Spier is a bit more ‘butch’ than their other reds, which means it needs some rare roast meats for company. There’s plenty of sweet fruit on the nose and palate in the blackberry and plum spectrum, along with licks of soft exotic spices. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy, with spiced fruit flavours, surprisingly soft tannins and a silky finish. It has ‘slip down easy’ appeal that is bound to make it popular at parties.
