The Spring Seed Wine Company is Joch Bosworth’s little side project, with the wines all produced from the certified ‘A’ organic Bosworth vineyard that is now nearing 40 years of age. It’s a vineyard that is well regarded throughout McLaren Vale for the both the quality of the grapes produced and simply how healthy the vineyard itself is. This cheeky golden follows this with some juicy, simple direct fruit flavours aplenty. It’s a light, round and approachable style of Chardonnay in the generous and peachy mould, with a little extra bottle age giving some more richness and palate weight.
