Stone Cottage Vineyard is a small family owned boutique vineyard on the NSW South Coast. Nestled amongst the hills of the picturesque NSW South Coast, within Woodstock, our vineyard enjoys quiet serenity and a favourable microclimate supporting optimal conditions for our grapes. In our wines, we use only fruit grown within Stone Cottage Vineyard, so we understand and are part of the history of each and every bottle. Grapes varieties include Chambourcin and Pinot Gris and the wines are produced locally from the hand reared grapes. Our vines and wines benefit from our rich monzonite soil, which provides dense structure in our wines and vibrant, lively acidity. Blackberries and black forrest fruits on the nose. There is a savoury woodsy-feel to the wine – almost hawthorn bushes and brambles. There is a nice red apple skin and red farmhouse ale funk. Fresh and free.
