The Whalebone is named after fossels of whalebones found on the Wrattonbully vineyard site many moons ago. It’s a fuller-bodied number that shows aromas of plums, violets and lots of cedary oak adorn the nose showing this wine is no wallflower. The palate is cassis-like, pepper spice, minty and a little bit savoury, with fine tannins, poised acidity, and a taut finish that’s begging to be cellared for a couple more years. Red – Shiraz and Blends – Cabernet Shiraz
