Kym Teusner is part of a collection of young Barossan winemakers enhancing the reputation of the historic region with flavoursome and balanced wine styles. Here he sources fruit from the nearby Adelaide Hills where the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit is grown at higher altitude to retain freshness and acidity. The resulting sparkling wine is bursting with citrus zest and crisp green apple. An underlying biscuity complexity and superb long finish make this one of the great recent sparkling wine finds.
