Now, here’s a wine from Kangaroo Island that is made by a French guy from one of Bordeaux’s wine families – Jaques Lurton. This has a bit of everything in the blend, including malbec, cab sav and grenache, and the result is a medium-bodied, fruit and savoury number that shows dark fruits and toasty oak on the nose and palate, supported by bright acidity and supple tannins.
