Now we enter serious tawny territory with this offering from Vallado. Smells of coffee, Xmas cake and orange rind rise from the glass, whilst the palate is quite elegant in the context of port, with more nutty and dried fruit flavours, excellent balance of sweetness and acidity, and a lush, long finish.
