Here we have a medium to fuller-bodied shiraz out of The Vale that has some generous fruit and oak to keep the taste buds happy. Aromas of raspberries, redcurrants and plums decorate the nose, along with hints of coffee and chocolate in the mix. The palate is quite red fruited, with decent licks of star anise and pepper spices, a touch of grip to the fine tannins, and a dry, spicy finish. This will drink well over the next 3 to 4 years with a nice beef stew. Red – Shiraz and Blends – Shiraz
