Whistle Post is a family-owned winery that is quite new to the winescape having been established in 2012. They are already turning out affordable and totally smashable wines that will please the crowd as shown in this smooth, medium-bodied merlot. Smells of ripe plums, red berries and subtle toasted cedar waft out of the glass, whilst the palate is elegant and fleshy fruited, with soft plummy flavours, gentle tannins, and a decent, fruit and savoury finish. Great with burgers! Red – Merlot
