It’s a full-bodied, sumptuous wine that shows intoxicating aromas of black and redcurrant, flaked tobacco, cedar and anise spice on the nose. The palate is elegant and sweetly-fruited, with plummy, blackcurrant and chocolate flavours, firm but balanced tannins, taut acidity, and a long, lingering, cedary finish.
