The Macallan 1950 Scotch Whisky has been aged for 52 years and released as part of their Fine & Rare range of vintage Whiskies, bottled in 2002. On the nose there is plently of apple and floral notes with good peaty hints of dried fruit. These flavours are continued onto the palate with balanced fruit, peaty smoke and light wood with hints of vanilla leading to a rich, fruity finish with plenty of smokey peat and spice.
